Former Lagos governor Bola Tinubu has been declared the winner of Nigeria’s presidential election.
Nigeria’s independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Declared Bola Tinubu of the progressive
Congress (APC) the winner of the 2023 presidential election,Tinubu polled a total of 8.8 M votes to
defeat his closet rival Atiku Abubakar of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 6.98M to emerge
second, with nearly 90M people eligible to vote.
There were mixed emotions by many Nigerians after the Nigeria’s independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Bola Tinubu of the All progressive Congress APC the winner of the 2023 presidential
Election. Tinubu pulled a total of 8.79 M valid votes to defeat his closest and long serving opposition
leader in Nigeria Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic party PDP who scored 6.98M to emerge the
second.
INEC said nearly 90M people were eligible to vote in Africa’s largest democracy,with Nigerian hoping a
new leader who will tackle with insecurities, economic Melaise and pull down growing poverty in the
region.
Bola Tinubu has put forward an acceptance speech appealig other competitors to unite and serve the
people of Nigeria adding that he will be a servant and not a leader who is going to serve all the people of
Nigeria.
Bola Tinubu urged all parties to work with Determination and knowledge to collaborate to make
Nigeria a place for Prosperity.
Beside that the AU Mission led by Uhuru kenyatt yesterday asked whoever will not be satisfied with the
results to use the rule of law to seek for justice.
