Mourners gather for the final send off of mzee James Nalyanya

A sombre mood filled Shirotsa village in Butere sub-county as Family and friends gathered for the final send off of mzee James Nalyanya Makokha a retired teacher in the area. The deceased was a retired teacher who had taught Butere primary school and many other schools in the country before his retirement.

Bereaved people and grievers chopped in to share a tooth on how the deceased had been an inspiration to them, many penning him as the best teacher and a cheerfull giver in the church who was an inspiration to many leaders in the region.

Many penned him to be a flower that had been plucked away from them, urging the family to pick a leaf from the late and live in his footsteps. but was tHe was a member of the Catholic community and had once served as a treasurer in one of the committees in the catholic community

The Late retired teacher Mzee James Nalyanya wias buried in Shirotsa village, Butere Sub-County Kakamega County.

The late Mzee had been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2015 and was admitted at Agha Khan hospital, where he underwent treatment before being referred for further treatment in India where He underwent all procedures

In early February the late Nalyanya developed difficulties in breathing and was rushed to Medheal hospital where his condition detoriated thereby passing on on the 17th of February

Mzee has left behind seven children andthwey were blessed with several grandchildren. and great grandchildren

However politicians took the platforms to pass on their word, with many urging the Azimio leader to keep off politics from the West, They also accused the Azimio leader with halting the development plan of the president of Kenya.
