Arteta’s men failed to secure a point at goodison park after a corner blunder which saw them concede a goal in the early minutes of second half.
All was well until Everton’s defender Tarkowski came from behind to score from a header which led them to winning the game.
However Arsenal’s chances were wasted after Everton put on a good defence mechanism. Thanks to Ex- Arsenal player Alex Iwobi who put on a good show against his former team
The win finds a good favor from Everton’s board as there were rumors about their outstar, a condition which would arise only if they were defeated.
Also the defeat comes in good faith as it clears Everton out of the relegation zone, as they moved to the seventeenth position with seventeen points.
Arsenal remained in the lead with over fifty points, five points ahead of second placed Manchester city and eleven points ahead of Newcastle and manchester United respectively.
