Graham Potter:

“You always feel pressure, the higher you go the more pressure/noise on the outside. At a club like #Chelsea, when you don’t get the results you want, there is noise and criticism. You have to keep trying to improve, stay strong and get through.”

“It was a positive performance overall, pleased with lots of things. Man City are a top opponent. Having said that, it was an even game [at Stamford Bridge]. Positive things to take.”

Graham Potter on Marco Silva at Fulham:

“Really well organised, know exactly what they are doing. He’s done a fantastic job. They play with courage, personality. Their points are earned and on merit. London derby, we are looking forward to it.”

Graham Potter:

“You have to understand it’s part of the job. When you lose, you feel the pain, suffering and discomfort. Sometimes it’s hard to understand the why, and it’s easy to blame somebody. It’s not like I’m perfect. You have to try to remember you are capable.”

“At the same time, the results haven’t been good enough and you have to accept, deal with it as best as you can and move forward. I’m in regular dialogue with the owners, supportive. Two, three times a week. Nothing but supportive.”

“We’re not in the best moment. They [the players] are hurting like everybody else is. We have to face our responsibilities and try to get the three points.”

Graham Potter on how much time he needs:

“It’s not like I can give you a timeframe. If you look at what we have at the moment, where we are at in terms of the players we have unavailable, it can skew the picture a little bit. If they are back, the picture changes.”

“As much as these moments are not nice, they aren’t, you have to get through them and be stronger because of it. But it’s not pleasant.”

Graham Potter:

“We can improve a lot, we can a lot more positive quickly with results, players and improved performances. The picture can change quickly. We are suffering, we have to accept it, and move forward.”

“My thoughts are you have to fix the team, it’s not just one person to solve the problems. You have to attack better, create more chances and then whoever is playing there can score and then win. Joao [Felix] is a talented player who can help the team.”

Graham Potter on Joao Felix:

“He’s been training regularly and had game time, so physically he can go in. There’s a little unknown with the adaptation period, it can be case-by-case. I see a confident player, who can impose himself, make the difference in the final third.”

“He is a nice addition and I’m really looking forward to working with him.”

Felix: “Chelsea players that I can remember, I can say Portuguese players, Deco, Ricardo Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira, Meireles, but there are others not Portuguese that I like too like Hazard & Frank Lampard. Drogba.
