Health ministry tops in corruption activities


A recent corruption survey and analytics done by officials and we’ll wishers has concluded that health ministry ranked first in corruption trends

Health Ministry ranked first among institutions most prone to corruption at 18pc, EACC survey shows Chiefs/Village elders [14pc] are second followed by Registrar of Persons at 12pc.
Narok County registers highest bribery demands level at 31pc followed by Elgeyo Marakwet [31pc], Nakuru [29pc] and Kisii [28pc], EACC survey shows.
Bribery [50pc] the most prominent form of corruption in public offices followed by favoritism [22pc], delays in service provision [21pc], abuse of office [13pc],
Kenya Police [82pc] ranked first among government departments where one is most likely to encounter corruption; EACC says Department of Registration of Persons [25pc] comes second followed by Immigration [17pc]

The main mitigation towards corruption was basically,Unemployment [56%] ranked first as the biggest problem facing Kenya followed by poverty [48%], corruption is third at [43%], EACC survey shows.
