The DPP has ruled out that Public Service and Gender Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa was not guilty in the array of murders linked with ODM supporters that she was convicted with, The DPP said that the Cs will now be a state witness in a murder case against her.

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Mr. Nordin Haji made an application to have all her cases withdrawn, the matter will be mentioned on December 21, and the CS is expected to appear in court in person.
This notice has comes days after Jumwa’s lawyer Danstan Omari wrote to the DPP to have the case file reviewed since the evidence provided by prosecution had no depth and did not show she was involved in the shooting.
Aisha’s lawyer argued that the accused has never owned a gun, nor was there an indication that she had a gun on the day Ngumbao Jola was shot during the Ganda by-election campaigns in 2019.
The Public Service CS had been charged alongside her body guard Geoffrey Okuto.
