President William Ruto led the Kenya kwanza team for an interdenominational Sunday service at Kericho Green Stadium in Kericho county saying he ordered the disbandment of DCI special unit service after failing to protect Kenyans.

The president accused the previous regime of President Uhuru Kenyatta for misusing the criminal justice system and attributed cases of extrajudicial killings in the country to the unit. He claims he ordered disbandment of the unit as it failed to protect Kenyans from killings stating they are the main killers. He has assured citizens he will take extra measures to curb extrajudicial killings that has been on the rise.

He has promised to transform the countries security system stating that the opposition cannot hinder them from transforming the country.

“Matters concerning the countries security was in a critical state and bodies were being found in river Yala and many other places where people were killed arbitrary. This people cannot hinder us from transforming Kenya and we want to bring out Kenya from foundations of threats” said the president.

With the appointment of Amin Mohammed Ibrahim as the next DCI boss after George kinoti, the president’s directive to disband the unit aims at restructuring the national police service.

With the ailing economy, the government of President William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua has promised to provide a long-term solution stating that a five year problem cannot be solved within 30 days. He added that the hustler’s funds will be disbursed in December saying it will not be free but mearnt for business with less than 10% interest.

“Those with whom we competed with should calm down because they are the people who destroyed our country. Give us a chance to repair it and plan it so that it can move forward” said the president.

The meeting created a platform for leaders in the region to articulate their issues and those of their resident’s .this has also made him to promise to 10000 house units and 100 acres of land to expand Kericho County.

“Get us land, I have investors who will come to help build those houses and we will give you money so that you can buy those houses” said President William Ruto.
