
Speaking in Nyeri during the burial of Deputy President’s brother Jackson Reriani Gachagua, president Wiliam Ruto said he is working keenly on reducing the country’s expenditure to ensure its manageable. The president says the 300 billion shillings cut will be effected as plans are underway to stop the borrowing that has led to the raise on the cost of living.

Ruto has called on all the legislatures to support the government’s efforts for the benefit of all citizens.
‘’Kuna sheria tutapeleka bunge, mimi nawaomba wabunge wetu kutoka pande zote tuko na jukumu ya kupeleka taifa letu mbele…’’said Ruto
The president also assured Kenyans that he will give priority to all government projects that were not completed during the reign of his predecessor president Uhuru Kenyatta. He promised to complete roads and water projects in mt. Kenya region.
