
In his first visit to Nyanza region where he did not actively campaign for his presidency bid and also being his first time in another county as the president. President William Ruto landed in Homa Bay county to attend a church service at the Homa Bay AIC church.
Ruto was accompanied by ICT cabinet secretary nominee Eliud Owalo, Ugenya member of parliament David Ochieng’, Kuria west member of parliament Mathias Robii, his Kuria east counterpart Maisore Kiamata, former Kisumu governor Jack Ranguba, former Kisumu gubernatorial aspirant Fred outa among others.

“The government you elected is your government, i promise to serve all Kenyans in equality and work closely with your leaders’.
With Homa Bay considered as on of Raila’s strongholds, president Ruto said he would facilitate an honorable retirement for Odinga.
“The leaders who were before us requires all the respect they need, leave them to me i’ll make sure they are treated with the respect they deserve”
Local leaders called for the textile industry in the region by boosting cotton farming. The president signed the return of the artificial insemination program targeting the region.
He addressed the public after the service, he said he will revisit his bid of reviving affordable housing pregrames.
The head of state also promised to oversee the construction of road networks in the county and completion of stalled projects.Â
