The head of state William Ruto and the first lady Rachael Ruto hosted an interdenominational thanksgiving service at the state house grounds.

Deliverance Church of Kenya presiding bishop Mark Kariuki lead the service while the service was delivered by PEFA National Presiding Bishop Dr Mophat Kiloba.

When President Ruto took to the podium he started off with songs and praises. He thanked the clergy and asked them to pray for the government as it embarks on reviving the country’s economy

On matters of health and education, President Ruto said they have laid elaborate plans to ensure universal health coverage to level.

Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua on his path called on the clergy to pray for him as he seeks to fit in the shoes of his predecessor who is now the head of states.

Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja and the first lady Rachael Ruto spoke in the service promising Kenyans that their government shall succeed.

During the thanksgiving service the clergy took time to pray for the presidency the leadership economy peace and later sanctified the state house grounds.
