
Azimio allies led by the Ugunja member of parliament Opiyo Wandayi and Sabina Chege, now claims that deputy CEO of the IEBC Ruth Kulundu was a whistle blower in the august election and wants the electoral body to recede their decision. They have accused the IEBC of acting in disregard of the law by harassing officers who performed their duties according to the constitution. They have also accused the IEBC chairman mr Wafula Chebukati for intimidating staffs.
The coalition have issued 48 hours to the electoral commission to withdraw the decision to interdict the kulundu who is alleged to aid the four commissioners Juliana Cherera, Francis Wanderi, Justus Nyang”aya and Irene masit who disputed the presidential results that declared president William Ruto as the winner.
Since the deputy CEO was accused of convening a commission preliminary meeting without approval by the CEO Marjan Hussein the relationship with her bosses have been sour.
