
After attending the funeral service of Queen Elizabeth the second, president William Ruto has jetted to New York in the United States of America to join other world leaders for the 77th United Nations General Assembly.
Currently several African Countries have been affected by drought including Kenya that has caused hunger in several areas in the northern region.
According to the ministry of foreign affairs, president Ruto is expected to chair a meeting of the conference of the African heads of state on climate crisis.

Kenya is seeking to promote its policy and enhance participation in the quest for global leadership in emerging issues including climate change.

While in New York Ruto is also supposed to sell his foreign policy agenda as Kenya’s new leader. He will hold a number of bilateral and trilateral meetings on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
