A great dilemma as Kenya Kwanza Alliance fronts different candidates Wafula Wakoli , Mwambu Mabonga and Timothy Lukurito to vie for the Bungoma senatorial seat after the elected senator Moses Masika Wetangula won the speaker of the National Assembly seat.
The bungoma senatorial seat felt vacant after the elected senator Moses Masika Wetangula was elected as the national assembly speaker. He resigned as a senator and was inaugurated as the speaker of national assembly.
However, he has been silent on his preferred successor after Wafula Wakoli who has his been his longest serving personal assistant fronted by some of the ford kenya party leaders to vie for the senatorial seat and also Mwambu Mabonga endorsed by some of the UDA party leaders to vie for same position.
Youths in the ford Kenya Party in Webuye County vowed to support Wafula Wakoli for the senatorial seat because he deserves it and he supports the youths and all the people in general.
Speaking during an event in Bungoma County Wakoli said he is ready to serve with other leaders and to do what he is asked by his mentor Wetangula.
