
The system of registering copying and storing student information digitally commonly known as NEMIS which was launched one week ago has begun to be implemented for testing. The minister for education Professor Gorge Magoha has said the new system will contributing to more improvement of storing students information in order to prevent fraud cases in expenditure of school finances.
Either the system that is being implemented on trial basis aims at simpl;ifying and aggregate all platform for collecting, copying and storing student and school information for the purpose of simplifying and speeding up decisions in the education sector .Either the system is meant to ensure transparency in the education sector.
Early this year the secretary incharge of the implementation of the CBC system professor Fatuma Chege informed the parliamentarians the need of designing another NEMIS system to interact with the new requrements especially the CBC system.
