on his first ever interview with media as the president elect , his excellency Dr. Willim Chirchir Arap Samoei Ruto appreciated the whole country for making one of the best decision since he had got above 25% in 39 counties .
William samoei ruto got 50.5% of the votes which amounted to 7,176,141 of the total votes . also his kenya kwanza alliance gathered most of the sits in both the parliamentary race , gubernatorial race and senatorial race .
He went ahead to appreciate his worthy competitor and before he was named as the fifth president elect , he had called raila and they had a discussion about the election result and he also promised that he will have a cup of tea with him .
He also gave the reason on why the people of kenya decided to vote for him.
