With only a week left to the general elections, the independent electoral and
Boundaries commission (iebc) on its move to ensure the elections are free and fair set up
Two centers at the bomas of kenya which will facilitate efficient communication to the

A media center was set up for journalists to keep track of events as they happen during
The general election and inform the publice while a call center is aimed to ease up
Comminication between iebc officials at the national polling and its officer spread
Across all 46000 polling station in the country. The two centers were declared fully
Fuctional by today.
“we are in a conversation to enhance media work in covering elections, being the first
Time something is happening we hope it will be a tradition to move forward.” Said
