The senate speaker kenneth makelo lusaka yesternight had an opportunity to address kenyans from world over, especially the electorate in western region’s bungoma county. In an exclusive interview with tandao tv’s robert wanyonyi, lusaka started by clarifying the difference between him and his rivals, stating that his leadership is aligned with service, unlike politics in the case of his rivals, terming it a major contributor to his election as bungoma’s first governor.

Making sure that all the communities residing in bungoma are united, he said, is his first achievement, improving the agricultural sector which he termed as bungoma’s economic backbone, the health sector, improving the conditions of civil servants and infrastructure being part of his success as bungoma county boss during his tenure.

Lusaka added that leading the county as the first governor, and setting up a foundation and structures of devolution, to ease future administrations’ progress in the county, was not a walk in the park.

Lusaka urged the bungoma electorate to support his bid, adding that completing the projects he initiated and doing many more, is his first priority once he sets foot in office after the fourthcomming general elections.

Empowering the youth, women and people living with disability, introducing tax relief to small scale workers and supporting financially needy students in education are part of lusaka’s agenda for the county, not forgetting sugarcane farming, saying that he will champion for re-equipment of nzoia sugar factory, to boost the productivity of the factory, a move he says will be beneficial to the sugar cane farmers.

Lusaka too urged kenyans to be remain peaceful at this time when political temperatures in the country are escalating, advising kenyans to shun away from being misused by the competitors in the political class.             The law society of kenya has colaborated with other organisations to seek for compensation to the families and victims of police brutality  and introduce a national campaign  against it given that the case are presented and never acted upon  or rather justice was never  issued to  the expectations and contentment of the victims.

However with the aim of reviving hopes to the victims the LSK said that a team of lawyers will be obtained with attemps of filling those case again to various courts in order to quwnch the thirst for justice to the lost souls and other victims.

Police brutality actually has paused Kenyans under a cloud of doubt of wether they should continue to entrust their live with the fellow men who intern end up torturing their innocent flesh or rather depend on themselves for maximum security which happens to be the duties of the police to safeguard Kenyans.

This incident intensively hiked up when Covid -19 kicked off in this country where curfew propelled and prolonged Kenya’s sufferings through being clobbered and injured on multiple occasion all over Kenya while they were just trying to be on the safer side with the Government.
